PopMCP
Popmundo guides, and how to connect them to AI tools with MCP and llms.txt
PopMCP publishes Popmundo guides on this site and in formats that AI tools can read directly. There are two ways to reach the guides:
- MCP server: Tools that support MCP, such as Claude, ChatGPT and code editors, can search the guides and read pages directly.
- llms.txt and Markdown: Any AI tool that can browse the web can read the page index and the Markdown version of every page.

Guides are written separately in each language, using that language’s Popmundo terminology.
Connect with MCP
MCP (Model Context Protocol) gives AI tools a standard way to connect to outside sources. The PopMCP server needs no authentication or API key.

When searching English guides, set locale to en.
Claude Code
Run this in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http popmcp https://popmundo-mcp.berkbirkan.com/mcpAdd --scope user to use the server in all your projects. Check the connection with claude mcp get popmcp. The tools appear in a new session.
Claude (web and desktop)
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Enter
PopMCPas the name andhttps://popmundo-mcp.berkbirkan.com/mcpas the URL.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization admin adds custom connectors.
ChatGPT
Turn on developer mode in ChatGPT settings, then create a new connector with https://popmundo-mcp.berkbirkan.com/mcp as the server URL and no authentication. Menu names can differ by plan and version.

Access with llms.txt and Markdown
If your tool does not support MCP, give it one of these URLs. They are plain text files made for AI tools to read.

Append .md to any page URL to get its Markdown version. For example, the Markdown version of /en/music/album is at /en/music/album.md.

/en, Turkish pages with/tr. - Guides are written separately per language; not every page exists in every language.
Using chat assistants
Chat assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude usually open only URLs that you write in your message or that appear in search results. Write the full URL in your message:
Read https://popmundo-mcp.berkbirkan.com/llms.txt and summarize the English music guides.If the assistant says it cannot reach the site, use the MCP connection instead.
