Big Bang — Music Guide
Traditional Competitions
Almost everyone involved in music dreams of one day earning achievements related to Big Bang, Popopalooza, and the Popmundo Festival, Popmundo’s most prestigious achievements. Of these globally organized competitions, Big Bang and Popopalooza are held every Popmundo year, while the Festival is held approximately once every 5–6 Popmundo years. People who achieve first place in all three of these competitions receive the Triad (trilogy) achievement. There are very few people on Popmundo who have this achievement.
Big Bang
The ninth day of the Popmundo calendar is the day of the Big Bang competition. Artists take the stage at a venue called Mega Dome in Rio de Janerio. No criteria are required to participate in Big Bang. Starting from the first day of each year, you can register through Social > Big Bang by choosing a time between 12:00 and 22:00.
The moment you register for Big Bang, all tickets for the 15,000 limit are sold. You cannot earn achievements related to ticket income and audience counts for this concert. If you cancel your Big Bang concert, you cannot register for Big Bang again within that year. Unlike other concerts, stage equipment is available ready-made at Mega Dome. You do not need to bring stage equipment with you. The use of special items in the stage plan is not permitted at a Big Bang concert.
The only criterion for participating in Big Bang is that your artist is older than one Popmundo year. Achievements are distributed to those who place in their own music genre and in the overall list in Big Bang. You can access detailed information from the Big Bang heading under the Social menu.
As a general strategy, concerts are arranged in stadiums before the Big Bang concert to ensure that songs reach maximum popularity.
