Personal musical tools that affect the personal performance score you receive on stage and whose absence causes a large drop are called instruments. Instruments come with zero history when purchased, and their history starts to gain stars as they are used. The first few stars are gained relatively quickly, but reaching 5* for an instrument takes 2 real-life years with regular concerts and constant tuning and polishing.

Polishing and tuning your instruments is enough to get a full stage score. The contribution of high-star instruments in this regard is not at a level that will change your life. If you wish, you can carry your instruments on you or leave them in your tour vehicle.
