Release Parties
Release Parties — Music Guide
When releasing the records you have prepared, you can arrange a party both to celebrate and to contribute to fame before sales. If the record released is a single, release parties give a popularity increase to both songs, more to the song in first place. If the record released is an album, all songs benefit equally from this popularity increase. The more popular the songs on the record are, the smaller the contribution from the release party will be. Release parties contribute to cities’ media power and indirectly to city fame.
The party’s effect increases in proportion to the money spent on it. You can find the balance between money spent and efficiency obtained for your band by experimenting, or you can benefit from the results compiled at the link below.
To organize a release party, you first need to send your record to your record company. Afterwards, you can arrange your party from the release parties section on your artist page. Remember that the earliest you can arrange a release party is 3 days, that is, 72 hours, later, and act quickly. Choose the time and place in accordance with your tour plan, determine the services you want to use, and arrange your party.
If you wish, you can also invite your friends to the party after arranging it. Your release party will start automatically when its time comes, and when the party ends your record will have been automatically released. Only your record is released with the party; if you have a video, your producer must release it.
Remember, if your recording studio does not order CDs for the record for which you have arranged a party, your party may fail. You can arrange single release parties no earlier than 27 days after the previous record, and album release parties no earlier than 111 days after the previous one. My advice is to make your plans carefully, avoid delays, and always release your records accompanied by a party.
