Tour
Tour — Music Guide
A tour is, in short, the name for concerts given consecutively in an organized way. Of course, if you want to succeed, you should have a solid tour plan. You can create this plan yourself by arranging cities one after another, or you can join ready-made tour plans, which you can find in the general forums and company forums and on which many bands travel together. Like my band’s tour, for example :p
There are a few things you need to pay attention to when preparing a tour or joining one. A Popmundo year lasts 56 days. Visiting the existing 49 cities within this period is necessary for the development of your fame. We can say that touring with two concerts in a city has become standard. Therefore, you can arrange a tour plan by giving two concerts in the same city as an evening concert–morning concert, without them being on the same day. Like this:
| Date | Time | City |
|---|---|---|
| 06.09.2019 | 12:00 | Brussels |
| 06.09.2019 | 22:00 | Amsterdam |
| 07.09.2019 | 12:00 | Amsterdam |
Continuing in this way.
The average of every concert you give within 56 days is taken and affects your city fame. For this reason, if there are no very big differences between concert levels, there is no point in giving a concert in that city more than once or twice a year.
There is another number you need to pay attention to, like 56: 42. If there are fewer than 42 days between the concert/concerts you arrange in the same city, you may experience problems with ticket sales. If your city fame is enough to give two concerts for 10,000 people, arranging two concerts will not be a problem. This time, the third and fourth concerts must not fall within the 42-day period. Also, starting 42 days after the last concert, downward movements in that city’s fame accelerate; city fame starts to decline. This decline accelerates greatly after 56 days.
Finally, let us discuss the concept of an accelerated tour. Here, with an evening concert–morning concert arrangement, every consecutive concert is in a different city. With a good sequence, you can finish a world tour in as little as 25 days. Its benefit is that, if you are just starting your career, by giving concerts in all cities you can start the process necessary for city fame to rise and sell somewhat more tickets for your upcoming tours.
